Dr Bell presented Award for Excellence
Dr Bell has won an Award of Excellence from the Australasian Society for Ultrasound in Medicine (ASUM) for his presentation at the annual ASUM Conference in Auckland, titled ‘The accuracy of point of care ultrasound in the diagnosis of painful shoulder disorders’.
In presenting him with the award, ASUM noted that ‘...you are top of your field from a very strong cohort of colleagues’.
Dr Bell is one of New Zealand’s leading Point of Care Ultrasound (POCUS) Clinicians, integrating Musculoskeletal (MSK) Ultrasound into day to day clinical practice. He teaches Doctors, Physiotherapists and Sonographers from around the world at the Australian Institute of Ultrasound, and is one of few Doctors in Australasia committed to a formal, ongoing program of quality assurance and credentialing in MSK Ultrasound.
